In this update, I focused on a comprehensive overhaul of the LegacyStrike anti-cheat system and resolved long-standing matchmaking issues in Casual mode.

Anti-Cheat & Security Overhaul

  • Dual-Tier Enforcement: The protection system now distinguishes between menu/lobby state and active matches. If third-party injection tools or conflicting background software are detected in the menu, the client notifies the player and safely cancels queue entry without issuing an account ban, allowing you to close conflicting software.
  • In-Match Code Integrity: Implemented strict runtime verification of client code sections, function hook detection, and unauthorized memory access during live matches.
  • Reduced False Positives: Added whitelisting for legitimate graphics drivers (NVIDIA, AMD) and system utilities to prevent false detections on clean setups.
  • Dynamic Security Signatures: The client now synchronizes signature updates directly with the server infrastructure in real-time.

Matchmaking & Casual Mode

  • Match Found Banner: Restored the native "Match Found" notification before connecting to Casual servers.
  • Search Cancellation: Fixed matchmaking cancellation in Casual mode; queues now cancel instantly and reliably without lingering state.

The update is live on dedicated servers and applies automatically on client start.
